Verse 10
For thou art the most high Lord over all the earth: thou art exalted exceedingly above all gods.
Quoniam tu Dominus altissimus super omnem terram; nimis exaltatus es super omnes deos.
He provides a reason why the people of God have rejoiced at hearing the words spoken to them: and the reason is because from these words it may be gathered that the Lord of God’s people is truly the supreme Lord: “ the most high Lord over all the earth,” that is, over all the kings and princes of the earth, “ exalted exceedingly,” that in every way higher than the false gods who are worshipped in error by the gentiles. Although these words are true according to the first interpretation, because our God has clearly proven Himself by sundry miracles to be superior to all the kings of the earth and to all the (false|) gods: yet even according to the second sense, the words are no less true and are more clear. For God has never shown His glory openly in the way He will in the last day when, as we said above, all men whatsoever, and the angels both good and bad, will bow the knee before Him.
Totus tuus ego sum
Et omnia mea tua sunt;
Tecum semper tutus sum:
Ad Jesum per Mariam.
